Richard P. Slaughter founded Richard P. Slaughter Associates in 1991 on a conviction that was uncommon at the time: that excellent financial advice could be delivered without product conflicts or hidden incentives. He set out to build one of the first fee-only financial advisory firms in the United States, placing the client at the center of every decision.
